Mike Clancy, started his career at Security Pacific Real Estate in 1976 as a twenty-two year old new licensee. In 1982 Mike started into management training at Security Pacific while also obtaining his Certified Commercial Investment Member designation He focused mainly on home sales and investment properties until 1994 when he joined the management team full time soon establishing Security Pacific as one of real estate’s most tech savvy brokerages. He served as President of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors (CCAR) and was named one of CCAR’s “Realtor of the Year” and achieved the distinguished Realtor Emeritus status at the local and national levels. Today Mike focuses on a select referral and investment business. He and Ilene live in Alhambra Valley where they enjoy their life in the valley with their three dogs.
Ilene Clancy has been Mike’s partner in business and life since 1980. She obtained her real estate license in 1980 and became Mike’s assistant learning all aspects of the business. In 1988 she joined Grubb & Ellis’ Relocation Division as Destination Services Manager assisting thousands of transferring corporate employees moving into the nine Bay Area counties and locations from Sacramento to Monterey. In 1994 Ilene re-joined Security Pacific as Director of Relocation and Marketing Services. In 2012 she joined J. Rockliff Realtors as Director of Relocation and Recruiting. Since leaving J. Rockcliff in 2015 Ilene has focused on helping long standing clients and select referral clients with their real estate needs.
Taryn Clancy-Leslie has been surrounded by the real estate business her whole life. Her earliest memories are of visiting real estate offices and building sites with her father, Richard Clancy. After graduating from San Francisco State University in 2000, Taryn joined the family business as an agent in the Walnut Creek office. Taryn obtained her brokers license in 2007 and today is a very busy wife and mom helping a select group of referral clients with their real estate needs in Central Contra Costa and San Francisco. In her precious free time, Taryn is an accomplished equestrian who is a champion in Hunter, Jumper and Equitation competitions at the national level.
